Description tobias 2015-08-13 04:58:31 CDT
Hi,

I was updating to Win10 and now realizing that I can't plot lanes anymore when using the analyzing --> gel function.
Usually, I open the image, draw the rectangular around the band go on with Ctrl1 and Ctrl2 and finally blot with Ctrl3. This blotting does not work anymore. The same goes when I use these functions through the menus (Analyze --> gels and so on).
Hope, this bug can be fixd easily.

Best regards,

Tobias

I cannot reproduce this problem using the Gel sample image. The commands in the Analyze>Gels sub-menu work as expected on Windows 10 using both Java 1.6.0_24 and Java 1.8.0_45.

Dear Wayne,

I am glad to hear that it works for you under Win10. Unfortunately, it is not the case for me. I was attaching a screen shot showing the empty blot window.
Any idea?

Best regards,

Tobias

Hi Tobias,

as far as I can see from your attachment, you are measuring in the red channel (Channel 1), but your signal appear to be green, i.e. belongs to a different channel.
Please check the channel slider or split channels before measuring.

Hope that helps,
Jan
