When making a 3D visualization with the 3D Viewer, often one desires to make a .png for publication from it. While it is a cute idea (if I may say so, as the guilty party) that Image>Duplicate... works, it is not intuitive.

In a related note, "Image - Duplicate" does not always work: it may end up showing an image of an earlier state of the viewer space. One has to rotate the view a tiny bit to make the internal ImagePlus be updated, and thus show correctly on "Image - Duplicate".

Benjamin Schmid fixed this by adding a View>Take snapshot menu item.
