Description gudrun viktorin 2010-06-11 10:15:55 CDT
Hi,
when I close a file and try to rename it, I get the error message "cannot rename file ... close any programs that might be using the file... ". After quitting Fiji, I can rename - would save time if I could add notes to the file name without quitting and restarting.

Windows XP, fiji-win32 today's update (Jun 11, 2010)

thanks, gudrun

What file? A text file? If so, in the Script Editor or in the Text Editor? If an image, what type of image? Was it read with Bio-Formats or not?

Sorry, but I need much more information to reproduce the problem. Only then can I look for the culprit, and only after that can I fix the issue.

oops, sorry. speaking of .lif confocal stacks from a Leica SP5, opened by drag and drop, BioFormats import options either Standard Imagej or Image5D.

Gudrun

I am sorry. As you probably guessed by the long delay, I could not reproduce. Does this still happen (after updating Fiji to the latest and greatest)?
