Description Stephan Saalfeld 2009-12-07 15:36:36 CST
Navigating a large project with no mipmaps generated yet, after a while freezes all windows content of Fiji as shown in the screenshot. The queue of mipmaps to be regenerated seems to continue to run and the appropriate message is updated in the ImageJ status bar as shown in the screenshot. No compiz or any other alien running.

I can't reproduce, despite testing in a machine with 2 cores and another with 16 cores.

Sometimes I get Ubuntu's GNOME desktop frozen--it's the gnome-panel application that gets stuck with some of java's modal dialogs. I submitted a bug report for that and they asked for too much, so it remains in the limbo ( https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/463806 )

I can't reproduce this error. Reopen if you can.
