To whom it may concern,

I donwloaded an update of Fiji. It was then impossible to use the coman Crtl+O or opening directly from the tool bar. It also didn´t work when running it from a previously functional macro. Thus I decided to download a recent version of Fiji from the official website and this new version wouldn´t even start (the 32bit version). I tried the 64bit version but the opening problem appeared again.

When trying to open the message "Path si required but unset" appeared.

The only way to solve this was to pick up an older version (ImageJ 1.49m) from another computer. This one works perfectly well.

Best regards,

Eduardo Sanchez.

Hello Eduardo,

For the Fiji instances where Ctrl+O is not working:

When you run the "Help > Report a Bug" command in Fiji, the resulting dialog contains a section entitled "Useful information about your system". Could you please paste that information here?

For Fiji not starting:

Just to confirm - did you download the 32-bit windows distribution from this page[1]?

Can you try launching from the console[2], and let us know what error messages you see?

Thank you for the report.

Best,
Mark
