I installed fiji by drag and drop of the fiji.app, macros and plugins symlinks from the .dmg folder to a new /Applications/Fiji/ folder.

In macosx finder window in column view mode, in the /Applications/Fiji/ folder, I can't open the plugins and macros symnlinked folders: when selecting them, I see briefly the contents of the folder, then switches back to a "preview" of just a symlink.

If one is to change the Finder window view to Icons or List (instead of columns, the default), then yes! Then one can double-click and see the content.

This is maybe a MacOSX bug in itself, not a Fiji bug.

Hmm.  We'd need a MacOSX expert to reproduce and explain this...

Jean-Yves just confirmed that this is a bug in MacOSX, and we cannot work around it.  I guess we cannot do more than what we have in the MacOSX tips page on our wiki.
