Description Yihwa Kim 2010-08-16 10:38:07 CDT
Hi
I was trying to make branches.
I have followed the instruction that I first select a path and then connecting from that point.
(By clicking command button, I have also tried option as was written in the instruction page, however the video tutorial said command button, and I think command button is right - for MAC)
Sometimes the selected point turns blue, and the branching works.
However in other times, it doesn't seem to work, and it connects from the point which was quite far away from the point that I had clicked.

Best wishes

Yihwa

Are you using the Simple Neurite Tracer? This is only a guess, since you omitted the crucial bit of information what you are actually talking about.

Yes I was.
Sorry about that!

Yihwa,

Are you also holding down "Shift"? This makes sure that the plugin is showing you the right slice in the stack - the join point should always be at the point under the red crosshairs if you're holding down Shift + ? on a Mac.

(In fact, perhaps this should be the default - I can't think of a situation where you wouldn't want that...)

many thanks,
mark

Hi
It seems with the update this problem is also solved.
Since I was pressing shift previously also..

Thanks for the help!
Best wishes
