Description Hermina Nedelescu 2011-01-05 07:29:58 CST
Dear,

It appear that when I am using the Simple Neurite Tracer creating the traces in the "paths" window I can no longer save the paths as .swc files as I used to be able to. The entire tab at the bottom of the "paths" window is missing.

Secondly, I was wondering if the Simple Neurite Tracer can support three channel images? Or if this will be a possibility in the near future.

Thank you,
Hermina

On the first point, could you try resizing the paths window to make it bigger, and see if the buttons reappear? Also, can you let me know what operating system you are using? (Reporting bugs via the Help > Report a Bug menu option includes useful information like this by default.)

Many thanks for the bug report,
mark

Hello Mark,

Yes, I have tried resizing. That's not the problem. The tab disappeared when I did the last update. I have tried to already reinstall Fiji twice, perhaps if I try again it'll be ok.

I use a Mac OS X

Thanks for your help.

Hermina

Hermina,

I can't reproduce this at the moment - I've just tried some tracing on a Mac and I could see the buttons at the bottom of the window fine. To help me track down the problem, could you run "Help > Report a Bug", and copy and paste the pre-filled data in the bug description box into a comment here?

Also, if you were happy to send me a screenshot of the problem by email, that might help as well - ideally one with the paths window enlarged to twice its normal size.

regards,
mark

Dear Helena,

from the quite short pre-filled report, I can see that you have an older version of the Bug Submitter. Could you run Help>Update Fiji and see whether it fixes your problems? (This is just a quick shot from my side, maybe it helps...)

Assuming that this issue has been fixed by a Fiji Update, I close this report. If that is incorrect, please reopen with more information.

Yes, thanks - the bug reporter confirmed this by email, and I'm afraid I forgot to close the bug.
