I have 5 macs in the lab and all them have FIJI on them. The latest one, an 8 core 12GB machine, however, is only able to open a 32 bit version of FIJI, not 64. This means that only one core seems to be addressed. 

Please could you let me know how I can use the 64 bit version. I have installed and re-installed FIJI a number of times. It just seems to be this machine that is affected.

Thanks! From your report I deduce that you haven't updated Fiji lately. In fact, it could be that you haven't even got the update for the Fiji launcher from July 30th (which was supposed to fix this issue for MacOSX >= 10.6). Please run Help>Update Fiji and check whether the problem persists.
