You can create a shift+c shortcut for the Edit>Copy to System command by adding this macro macro "Copy to System [C]" { run("Copy to System"); } to the end of Image/macros/StartupMacros.txt (Fiji.app/macros/StartupMacros.txt on Fiji). Note that this shortcut replaces the existing shortcut for Image>Adjust>Brightness/Contrast. You will need to use command+shift+c as a shortcut for the Brightness/Contrast command. You can also use the Plugins>Shortcuts>Create Shortcut command to create a keyboard shortcut but this command does not allow you to replace an existing shortcut so you will have to use an unused shortcut key (e.g., F1). ImageJ 1.47i has an improved version of Plugins>Shortcuts>Create Shortcut that lists the available shortcuts in a drop down menu.
