fiji menu behavior - doesn't fit on screen (147 bytes, text/plain)

Description Rob Baer 2013-01-26 20:22:55 CST
I have a reasonable look to my interface fonts for "old guy" screen use. I can accommodate maybe 22 items including pop-out drop-down items before reaching the bottom of the screen. Fiji has more than this on analyze & plugins. The drop menus of lower otems can make this worse.

Result is bottom menu items are inaccessible. Work-around is to set menu font to 9, but this make it hard for me to read without eye strain.

Screen resolution 1920 x 1080, NVidea 460M scaled to 150%. Windows 8. To illustrate I show a screen capture with the boats sample image displayed at 75% for reference. Desktop icons for IJ and FIFI are also available for reference.

It strikes me such issues will get even worse with additional functionality, and will more important as ImageJ2 reaches maturity.
