Description Stephan Saalfeld 2013-04-24 10:10:31 CDT
While recognizing that the plugin is not working any more, I also found that the gallery tag isn't interpreted by our Wiki.
Comment 1 Johannes Schindelin 2013-04-24 11:47:54 CDT
That is not quite correct. The <gallery> tag *is* interpreted. Inspecting the elements says quite clearly that they are of type <li> with class "gallerybox".

Feel free to download the complete page (most browsers allow that by File>Save Page As... or similar), editing the saved .css until you like it, and providing a patch.

Thanks.

Thanks for your reply---I couldn't find the gallery template and thus reasoned that the extension may not be present. As regenerating the css to my liking is laboriousi f done from scratch, I would appreciate if you could check whether the css of the previous pacific installation can be rescued, or point me to the path from where I can try to rescue it. Thanks in advance for enabling an efficient solution.

A .zip containing all the files needed to resolve this issue

So here is a .zip that contains the page that I downloaded and adjusted so it looks exactly like the original.

The file to edit is Miniature Faking - Fiji_files/main.css.

As to the previous installation of pacific: we have an identical setup now. You can check by exploiting a configuration mistake: http://wiki.imagej.net/index.php?title=Miniature_Faking&useskin=vitilevu

Maybe you missed when I sent that mail asking everybody to check whether upgrading MediaWiki broke anything?
Comment 5 Johannes Schindelin 2013-04-24 21:07:51 CDT
Oh, well. I fixed it, but nobody can rightfully claim that I haven't given anybody a fair shot at addressing the issue themselves.

It incidentally fixes the layout of Special:NewFiles which I wanted fixed for a long time anyway.

At least I have the warm and cozy feeling that I am a pretty good maintainer... Everyone who says differently is selling something.
