hi

I have a TrakEM2 project with a layer thickness of 33.031 pixels. I tried to import a stack into this project (right-click on display->import stack). TrakEM then asks for thickness, which I also setted to 33.031. A dialog appears as following:
The current layer thickness is 60.0 which is larger than the desired 33.031 for each stack slice. Adjust current layer's thickness to 33.031?

If I press No, TrakEM creates new layers somewhere between the existing layers, which is wrong, but makes sense, because the thickness is wrong.

If I press Yes, TrakEM creates new Layers with the same Z than the existing ones. For example: i now have two Layers with z=825.775, one with the images, which were already there and one with the freshly imported image.

This problem is worked around with right-click on the "Top Level [layer set]" node of the "Layer Tree", that has a reset menu item for layer Z and thickness.
