Can't open .lif files. LOCI plugin doesn't seem to be working at all...

When you say that the LOCI plugin doesn't work, do you mean that clicking "Plugins > LOCI > Bio-Formats Importer" does nothing (and there is no error message)?

If so, this is likely the same as bugs #488 and #489, in which case please try the workaround outlined here:

Well, I'll explain better:
1) I downlaoded Fiji from the fiji.sc site for windows 64bit
2) Running it and trying to update it says "Can't overwrite updater"
3) Restarting it and trying to update it says "You did not restart after last update"
4) Restarting again it does update correctly but LOCI stop working, and it doesn't show any error of sort...

using the workaround everything goes smoothly, thank you very much!
